How it started« While traveling through India, for a yoga retreat, I discovered the incredible skills of local artisans. Back home, I decided to create Dàna en voyage. Dàna en voyage is a colorful rainbow comprised of my passions: art, yoga, ceramic and fashion. Dàna in sanskrit evokes an ancient practice of cultivating altruism. That's our goal.
Fanny Sennheiser, ceramist & designer
" Since 2011, I am producing my own ceramic collections and have now taken a new direction towards a more holistic path with DÀNA en voyage.
After my studies in art, cultural management, and public relations in France and Switzerland, coupled with several years of working in cultural business, I have decided to reorient myself on a more artistic path.
I have been designing and creating ceramic collections with poetic and timeless charm. I have created two ceramic brands, Smiling Table for children and Tender Love, which previewed at Colette in Paris and presented in museum and shops, in France, England, Switzerland and Austria. All handmade in my studio in Zurich, the ceramics are crafted from the finest porcelain and inspired by my childhood memories, travels, or impressions captured in nature.
I have practiced yoga for 17 years and started to work as a yoga teacher since 2021."
Our InspirationsOur motivation is to influence the awareness and visibility of the handcrafted traditions of emerging artisans, empowering them with confidence while also connecting them to global markets.
A purple sunset in India, the street-life we experienced in our travels and the beautiful craftmanship from makers all around the world are a source of inspiration.
Slow made lifestyleFor the past few years, handcraft lives a renaissance. A young avant-garde offers a new perspective on the handmade world: the makers. DÀNA’s product lines are manufactured by talented makers with cultivated principals, all produced in limited edition. We create artistic collaborations and visibility on handcraft traditions and show you how we act and produce.
" For me as a ceramist, the handcraft was a response to a more fulfilling work life. When the work starts to be an object of contemplation, when the right gesture is responsible for both the results and for the failures, and when we master an accomplished process, we can be proud of the final product."

Family, arists & friends inspired by Dàna
Brigitte Fossey, Dàna's Godmotherm french actor & comedian
" It is magnificent what you are doing in the spiritual movement of this place, which is carried by nature, the nature of your parents and this universal creativity that you all carry and share in the love of life and the sweet mystery of beauty and the good life.
It is a breath of hope – A light and deep breath to share – Or to live in the spirit of these places where two lovers of art and nature have lived: Daniel and Claude Meiller. They were so cultured and so simple, and above all so joyful. They were greedy for human and artistic knowledge, without forgetting their great respect for artists and craftsmen.
I hug you and wish you a good start for this beautiful ship which will soon sail to Morteuil."
En fidèle amitié,
Brigitte Fossey
